Captains must register their team on TennisLink using the following format: area and age division/captain’s last name/facility code (Example: GSTL18/Cover/Grande Dunes).

 

Be sure to have the minimum number of players by the deadline.  

 

Check the roster to be sure all players are qualified and have registered before playing in a match.

 

 

Make team members aware of all league regulations. SC Rules and Regulations

 

Captains are responsible for their team’s and spectators’ actions. Be sure you, as captain, and your team practice good sportsmanship.

 

All matches must have an assigned captain for the entire match.

 

Report scores through TennisLink immediately following the match. Winning captains enter scores within 48 hours and visiting captain confirms scores within 48 hours. Confirm player names and match scores with opposing captain/players at time of the match to avoid errors.

 

Postponement may occur due to inclement weather (rain, snow, hurricane); there is no heat or cold rule. Within 48 hours of a match postponement, a makeup date should be scheduled and the league coordinator notified. The date of the makeup match must be within 2 weeks of the original match date. If a position has not finished play and it begins to rain and a player goes out of town, that position must be played within 48 hours of the player’s return. Both captains must alert the coordinator that this has happened and when the player will return.

2) Individual Matches: winner of the most individual matches in the entire competition

3) Head-to-Head: winner of head-to-head match

4) Sets: loser of the fewest number of sets

5) Games: loser of least number of games

6) Games Winning Percentage: Total games won divided total games played
